To find Chipping from the East (A59.) leave the A59 by turning right onto the A671 at the Clitheroe junction, after ¾ of a mile you will reach a roundabout at which you should take the first exit and enter the town of Clitheroe. Proceed through the town on the B6243, (following signs for Longridge). Having passed the sports centre and left the town you will reach the "Edisford Bridge” public house, branch right here onto an unclassified road (signposted Whitewell) and continue for ½ mile before taking the first available left turn. Continue for a further 5½ miles along this road to reach Chipping, and carry on straight through the village until you reach the village hall on your right.
